So, my birthday was on 19th August. I've been trying to hide my birthday on facebook for years, it's not a big deal anyway. This time, Asmira was the first person who moved her finger to send in the birthday wishes to me through whatsapp right at 12 o'clock. Mom was the second, Dad was the third, and the rests are my aunts, my cousins, my grandparents and else. I was waiting for another wishes from my high school friends, they're my bestfriends so it's pretty important for them not to forget this day because if they do, that'll break my heart a little. I thought they had forgotten about it, so I was like okay nevermind. We're a grown up persons and there are tons of things that are more important than birthday wishes.
Then Kila asked me to keep her company for a massage, she got a back pain and it was very urgent and a must for me to say yes because she was so much in pain. Kononnya. Without thinking hard, I said yes. Then, it was raining so heavily. I've started to have second thoughts. Luckily, the rain had stopped before the time we promised to meet up. So yeah, I went out. And there were Eda, Kila and Izzatul in the car. I was kinda surprised because I thought it was just me alone with Kila. Then, they brought me to Taman Tasik Semenyih. There was nothing and no one there and out of a sudden, I heard footsteps from behind and hands started to blindfold me so freaking hard. I didn't even get to turn around, you know. Then everything was quiet, someone pushed me, forced me to move forward. I must say it must be hard for that person to do it all alone since I was trying to fight back because I heard her gasping heavily like she was out of breath already. Hahaha !
Once she opened up the blindfold, them buddies started singing to me "Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to Alynn, Happy birthday to you . . .". It was my high school friends ! Some of them holding out the balloons, chocolate marshmallow cake, guitar, camera, the pops, the sprays. Hahaha, I gotta admit they're not really good with surprises, amateur sangat weh macam kelakar je bila fikir balik. But with all the foods that they had prepared for me on my special day by the lake, peaceful scenery, important people around me. I couldn't ask for more. Thank you guys. Love you to the moon and back, to infinity and beyond.
